Wilkes-Barre Readiness Center
D&M Construction Unlimited, Inc. was honored to be part of the renovation of the Wilkes-Barre Readiness Center, which is occupied by the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. We were entrusted with the task of revamping the interior and exterior of the building’s elements. Our work included installing a new elevator, LVT and VCT flooring, porcelain floor tile, acoustic ceilings, interior painting, updated locker room and replacement of windows. On the exterior of the building, we self-preformed the masonry restoration. This facility now has a new modernized appearance, which will be utilized for practice drills, additional offices, and contemporary training areas.
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre International Airport Emergency Response Hangar
D&M Construction Unlimited, Inc. recently completed this impressive project constructing a state-of-the-art airport hangar and office building for Geisinger’s life flight crew. The hangar is designed to accommodate multiple aircraft, ensuring quick and efficient maintenance and readiness for emergency missions. Adjacent to the hangar, the office building provides a comfortable and functional workspace for the crew, equipped with modern amenities and advanced communication systems. This facility enhances the operational capabilities of the life flight team enabling them to respond swiftly to critical situations and save lives. Scranton Cultural Center
The Scranton Cultural Center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. D&M Construction Unlimited, Inc. was tasked with exterior and interior renovations and restoration including roofing, masonry, cathodic protection system, and interior finishes such as plaster, paint, stenciling. We also oversaw the restoration of the stain glass windows, exterior doors, and steel case windows.
